KVK as knowledge Centre On Agriculture and Allied Trades

Residential Specialized long duration training on Agriculture allied trades like agronomy, Horticulture, Gardner training integrated organic cultivation, poultry, Fishery, Mushroom production, Bee keeping, Dairy, Soil Testing, Production of organic fertilizer etc. These training programmes are conducted round the year and duration of training programme 3 to 6 month except Beekeeping, Mushroom production.

 

KVK as a Resource Centre

 

Krishi Vigyan Kendra is not working only as a knowledge centre but also act as resource centre, the trainees are made available basic input to start their own enterprise.

Integrated Training and Demonstration Units

All the training and demonstration units like poultry units, Mushroom unit, Dairy unit, Bio fertilizer production unit, Bee keeping etc have been established in a single campus.

 

Soil Testing

 

A state of the art soil testing laboratory has been established in the KVK to provide soil testing and soil health card service to the farmer.
